Most graphics deteriorate the more you zoom in, until you end up with a highly pixilated mosaic. Vector graphics are especially great for the web of for use in animated projects that use zoom techniques a lot because vector graphics don't deteriorate with higher zoom ratios. Check out the "o" in God magnified at 1200% below. The lines are clean because vector graphics assigns colors and lines in such a way that can re-draw the picture for each enlargement. |
 Illustrator is great for designing logos, as well as titles. You can incorporate shapes, textures, gradients and shadows, and lots of other design techniques to make your projects uniquely you. |
